1. Who we are

BlogDoctor is an AI-powered SEO and content health tool for bloggers. This policy explains how we collect and use information when you visit our website and use our service.

2. Analytics — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use BlogDoctor. GA4 collects standard web analytics data such as pages visited, time on page, browser type, and approximate geographic region.

We configure GA4 to avoid collecting personally identifiable information (PII). Specifically:

  • We do not send email addresses, names, or account identifiers to GA4.
  • We do not send blog URLs, post titles, or any content you create.
  • We do not send search queries or freeform text.
  • Numeric counts (such as blog count) are bucketed into ranges before being sent.

We track funnel events such as landing page visits, sign-in attempts, onboarding progress, and billing page views to improve the product experience. All event parameters are coarse-grained and non-identifying.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. Google OAuth and blog access

You sign in to BlogDoctor using your Google account. We request access to your Blogger or WordPress content only to perform audits and apply fixes you approve. We store OAuth tokens securely server-side and never expose them to your browser.

We do not store raw post content beyond the analysis session. All changes are versioned and fully reversible.

4. Cookies and session data

We use a single server-side session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. Google Analytics uses its own cookies as described in Google's policy.

5. Data retention and deletion

Session data is cleared when you sign out. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Google Analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings (14 months for user and event data).

6. Contact

If you have questions about this policy, please reach out via our website or the contact details in your account settings.
